Gar Fishing Georgia

Gar fishing on the Flint River Georgia is something I’ve always been interested in but have just got to we’re I really love Fishing for them and catching the prestoric looking fish. They grow from 1ft long to normally 4ft long but every now and then we catch and see 6 to 7ft long gar. There is 2 main species being long nose gar, and spotted gar. We fish for them by rod and reel and bow fish for them as well! It’s a really neat thing being we can fish for them and shoot them during the day because the water is so clear. Some days we catch Georgia Gar until your tired of catching them, with some being giants! Come have a blast and enjoy some Gar fishing !
